September PetBox Review

Hey, guys! It's time to review our September PetBox. As most of you know by now, PetBox is a monthly subscription box for both dogs and cats that sends you an assortment of goodies each month. For more about it click on the link above.

Here is what we received this month:

  • Loving Pets It's Purely Natural Chicken Jerky Bone Shaped Treats. These were by far the favorite in this month's box. The name is a bit misleading as they don't have a jerky consistency, but they do have great ingredients and are made in the USA. They're the perfect sized treats at bedtime for when Pike gets crated.
  • Bark+ Biodegradable Poop Bags -8 Rolls. I like that these are biodegradable, but considering our last box had a large quantity of poop bags these will go into the poop bag drawer (yes, I have a poop bag drawer).
  • Bionic Bones Nutrient Water. I can't much information on this product, and while the ingredients seem fine, it isn't something I will be giving my dogs.
  • Evanger's Grain Free Chicken Wet Dog Food. Again, fine ingredients but this is something that will most likely be donated.
  • PetSafe Lawn Protector. Box says for the prevention of urine damage to grass. I'm not comfortable using this, and my dogs don't stain the grass, so something else that will most likely be donated.
  • PetzInfo QR Tag. I can't stand the sound of more than one tag on a collar, and since my two are hellions on tags this is something else that will be donated.

To be perfectly honest I wasn't thrilled with this month's box. I would have liked to see a toy or two in the mix, and I don't like that there was the water or lawn protector in the box. PetBox is great overall, though!

52 Weeks of Nola: Week 37

(week 36 will be posted next week due to an editing glitch)

Nikon D3300
35mm lens
ISO 800
This was taken on the first day of fall, and visible signs of fall that early in Florida are slim to none. I chose the more rapidly fading, red tinted light to showcase the change in season, but if you were here you could feel the glorious change: perfect weather (never above 85), almost no humidity, cloudless blue skies....paradise. It's my favorite time of year, and the dogs', too!
