Mom and I may or may not go insane by the time this week is over (Dachshund Mommy: And Nola will probably ballon up, as no one freaking listens to me when I say "do not feed my dog". 1) she has allergies, so don't feed her your damn corn chips! and 2) I'm trying my damnedest to keep her lean and I really don't want to have to restrict her food and up her exercise after said relatives leave.
Bleh. Home invasion. Ugh!!! Okay, whine over.)
Kisses and Tail Wags,
Dachshund Nola
Oh yeah, the apocalypse is suppose to be today. Clearly, I'm still here so that shit feel through the roof, BOL!
Hey, we're still here too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your company. Stressful ain't the word!!
Hang in there Nola & Dachshund Mommy, it will be over before you know it (yeah right.....)
Hugs,
Lily Belle
My mum likes to slap peoples dat feed us contraband foodables.
ReplyDeletePuddles
Tell everyone that they need to not feed the dog because of those reasons. And, if they do feed her treats, they will then be responsible for giving her an extra 10 minute walk and, if they fed her something she is allergic to, they have to be the one to pick up the nasty leavings from it (if it is that kind of allergy) or give her an antihistamine shampoo bath (if it is the itchy kind). I think you may get people doing a lot less treating of the dog if you set down ground rules like that.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I was going to mention, since you commented on my post about cameras and lenses, that the 50mm lens is really awesome for getting the bokeh in pictures. The narrow depth of field you can get with the 1.8 aperture gets some pretty amazing bokeh.
Whew I bet you and your mom will need a long winter nap before it is all over...ain't company just grand...we usually only keep them around for the day NEVER that long...whooo.....we loves that picture alot...we talked about it yesterday in our post.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Nola and family

My Mom feels just like your Mom, butt I says....bring on da cookies! :)
ReplyDeletePeeS...I saw a box that came from Hartz butt Mom says we can't open it until Santa Pawz puts it under the tree (which we probably won't have considering all the remodeling). Butt it's here and Mom says we won it from you! WooHoo....more bout it after Christmas.
What we do is we keep healthy stuff (steamed broccoli, peas, lettuce or carrots in small pieces) and if anyone wants to give anything to TeKeela or Bailey, they can choose from the 'approved' stuff. Lettuce is a great filler and almost no calories... Happy holidays Nola & Amanda!
ReplyDeleteMerry Chrismas! Nola be a good girl & turn down all of the offers of food :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun with all your guests!

Relatives for a week? I will pray for you! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe let Freedom, Casper & Nikki stay with friends when we hosted Thanksgiving and I was so much more relaxed because of this very thing. I will be thinking of you and hoping that by some miracle, your guests listen better this year.
ReplyDeleteOh, Pup, it's like my old Aunt Florence used to say. House guests are a lot like fish, after a couple of days they begin to smell! Buck up, Sweetie, they'll go home soon. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteIt's just a week! It'll be over before you know it. Would clicker training work on relatives? BOL.
