CatDog's Big Day

Salem is now around 6-6.5 months old, and today she's getting spayed and her microchip. Technically most vets say they can alter an animal so long as it is at least 12 weeks old and 2lbs (ugh, don't get me started on pediatric spaying and neutering in dogs....), but Salem was so small at that age and started out so weak that I decided to wait until now. Wish her luck!
CatDog does not like her picture taken with the Nikon. At all.

  8. I'm glad she did well. Both my cats were spayed around Salem's age, because one of them went into heat. Never again. Nothing worse than a cat in heat!

  9. I trust everything went well for Salem. Good idea to consider their age when neutering, I've learned it is important!
