I'm A Dog Bed Addict: Molly Mutt Review and GIVEAWAY!

Hey, everyone!

Disclosure: we received a free Molly Mutt bed set in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I have a bit of a thing for dog beds. Even though Nola is tiny, has full use of the human furniture, and sleeps in bed with me, I can't help hoarding dog beds. I rotate them every week or so, but generally have one or more out at a time. Because really, who doesn't like variety? Maybe she wants round one day, square the next. Raised edges on Monday, flat on Tuesday. A princess has to have options, don't you know. At least, that's what my spoiled dog is insisting on.

When I was contacted by Molly Mutt and asked to do a review and giveaway for you all, I jumped at the chance. Another dog bed to fuel the fires of my addiction? Yes, please!
Molly Mutt is a U.S. company that makes high quality dog (and cat!) duvet covers and crate covers, along with collars, leashes, and other accessories. You can use pretty much anything you want to fill up the duvet: old clothes, towels, blankets, pillows...whatever you fancy!

There's so many options that I had a hard time choosing which one for Nola. So many sizes, prints, colors, shapes! They come in four sizes: petite (under 15lbs), small (15lb-30lb), medium/large (30lb-70lb), and huge (over 70lb).
These are just a few of the gorgeous beds I plan on getting sometime in the future:

Molly mutt offers rectangular or round beds, and even has a bolster add on option if your dog prefers to have a chin rest, or something to curl up against. There's also a section of outdoor dog beds that are just as attractive as their indoor counterparts.

There's an option to get a water resistant liner for the bed, as well as something called a stuff sack. A stuff sack helps keep whatever you've used to stuff your bed organized, giving the bed a smoother shape and more comfy appeal. When it's time to wash, you can simply pull the stuff sack out of the duvet, and chuck the entire thing in the wash. No need to pull everything out and restuff it!
I do recommend putting the empty stuff sack in the duvet first, and then filling it that way.

Nola really likes this bed, and I love the adorably tiny size. It's the perfect fit for a small dog or a cat, and they even have an option to use a dog or cat specific logo, depending on which you have.

It's quite durable, and I've tossed it in the washer and dryer twice now without any issues. Nola sometimes likes to dig in her bed before settling, and it hasn't torn or become marked up at all.

I would recommend using pillows or a light blanket to stuff your bed, rather than towels or clothes. They get quite heavy, and rather stiff.

Overall though, I'm very happy with our Molly Mutt bed, and will be getting more!

Molly Mutt has generously offered one of you all your choice of duvet! Sorry, US residents only. Follow the Rafflecopter below, and good luck!

  9. Nola is such a fantastic little model! <3 My favorite duvet is the one that you got. Although, with my stupid cats, I probably need one of their outdoor ones that's water resistant. LOL

  10. I love the rocketman duvet! so cool! The add-on bolster is perfect. My doxie LOVES to have his head propped up. Sometimes, he will sit up instead of laying down if it's not an option to have his head propped up. hehe.
