Fit Dog Friday

I started training for a 10k (why, I have no idea. It's summer, you guys. August. In Florida. It's not even the heat that's so bad, it's the humidity; it's like breathing under water.), and Miss Nola's been running, too! She enjoys it, at least when it's not too miserably bright and sunny. We've been running in the mornings, so that helps.
Also been doing lots and lots of tugging and a bit of balancing! It's paying off!

This was last week.

And this was yesterday.

  2. A 10k! Ambitious! I cannot run in the southern heat. Oh no way, no how. The last time I did a 5k it was in the winter!

  5. That is awesome! Some people think little dogs can't run, but they can. I would run up to six miles with Mom, Katie used to run up to fifteen. Now Bailie runs with mom. Nothing beats running with your dog and early morning runs are the best! Good for you guys!
