Chicken Antagonizer

Nola is a great dog. She's my best dog, in fact, and in many ways is perfect. Her one huge issue? She loves, and I do mean loves, to torment the chickens. There's around 20 or so in our coop, and one of her favorite past times is to run the fence line and poke her nose at them and scream (they're used to this and it doesn't phase them, don't worry ;)). Funny thing is, when she actually goes into the coop she leaves the birds alone! I snapped these the other day as she was havin' a go at them.

There's a few hens that are even bigger bitches than the She Devil, and they'll squawk right back at her.

She tries to recruit Pike, and that works until he realizes he has to drop his ball in order to bark. This is unacceptable to him.

Pure evil in a 10lb, deceptively adorable package.

  1. She is adorable! Butt, just think of it as her 'talking' to the chickens, just loudly talking?

  5. My sister lets her chickens run loose all over her yard. It is AMAZING how fast they can run with a corgi on their butts ;-)
