I took a crap ton of photos, so this visit'll be split into two posts.
Speaking of photos, I'm having some slight camera issues. A few weeks ago I noticed my autofocus on my 18-55mm wasn't quite as fast as it used to be, and now it's progressed to where it will have problems focusing on things closer in range, and sometimes I have to manually focus to sort of reset it. It's quite aggravating, as the camera and lens are less than a year old (bought in late May of 2014). This is exactly what happened to my last Nikon, a D3100, and I'm frustrated beyond belief with that. I wound up replacing that one because settings started to fail, but I remember the focusing issue happened first. Not sure if it was connected or if it was just a coincidence. I'm fastidious about the care of my gear, and it's pissing me off to be dealing with problems so soon. If you've experienced this or have any ideas, please let me know!
Back to the happy stuff now! We saw a stunning bald eagle at the park. There's quite a few in my area, so it's not a rarity, but I always get a rush out of seeing those beautiful birds. It was windy and cool, but clear skied and sunny. Perfect walking day!
PS: Yes, in yesterday's photo B is standing on a mirror. :)
