A couple of weeks ago I was asked to do a review and giveaway for Best Bully Sticks (on Facebook here), an online company that sells a wide array of dog chews, including (shockingly) bully sticks, antlers, fish and other types of chews. I was sent some bully sticks, a medium sized bone and a split elk antler.
I was very, very happy with the bully sticks! They're made from non-China sourced beef (New Zealand, or perhaps Brazil, I believe) that free range, and while they still have a distinctively nasty bully stick smell, it's not nearly as bad as others. There's also no messy residue like some types have, they were super tasty and didn't upset my stomach.
I'm still working through some moose antlers Mom got me, but the nibble I had of the elk antler was really yummy as well.
The bone... I wouldn't recommend. Mom gave it to me in my crate, where she could watch me and supervise, and within three minutes of chewing a large piece broke of. I'm a very careful chewer, and while I have extremely powerful jaws for being 10lbs, I'm not an aggressive chewer on bones. If I hadn't spit the splinter out, and Mom wasn't watching me, I could've choke! I would advise against the bones.
