Positive Pet Training Blog Hop Starts the 6th!

Hey, y'all! Dachshund Mommy here. I hope everyone had an awesome New Year!
I have an announcement to share today: Miss Nola and I are hosting a monthly Positive Pet Training Blog Hop alongside Cascadian Nomads and Tenacious Little Terrier! On the first Monday of each month, the three of us will be posting our training tips, experiences, videos, advice, photos, musings, ect and we'd love to have you join with us! Here are our rules/guidelines/info:

  • Write a post about positive pet training. You can share personal stories, tips, photos, etc, and post it on the first Monday of the month. Link your post to the Linky available on the host blogs sites on first Monday's. All positive pet training blog posts are welcome but some months the blog hop hosts will encourage posts with a specific theme.
  • Blog posts should be about positive training techniques and affirmative bonding with your pet(s.) Set backs and disappointments happen in pet training but posts that refer to negative training or harsh corrections are not appropriate for this blog hop.
  • Please do not link blog posts that are only promotions for products or businesses. Advertising posts are considered spam and will be removed from the hop. However, sharing relevant information about training tools or techniques from a business blog or a personal blog are certainly welcome.
  • Hop around, learn from other bloggers and readers and enjoy. Be sure to leave a comment saying you found the blog post in the Positive Pet Training blog hop!
How pet blog readers can participate in the Positive Pet Training Blog Hop:
  • Read and learn from the bloggers linked in each months Positive Pet Training Blog Hop and leave comments including your experiences and any questions.
  • Share your positive training stories with the blog hop hosts via e-mail and/or social media. We love to hear from you!
  • Train your pets with positive reinforcement and enjoy!

The majority of these posts will be centered around dog training, but if you have any other pet you are more than welcome to join! Major kudos to you if you've managed to train your cat, horse, bird, or whatever pet you have! We'd love to hear your stories. :D

Nola's "take a bow!" trick

Some ideas/topics you could use for the hop are:

  • Your greatest training success
  • Your favorite dog accessories for training such as your favorite leash, harness, clicker, bait bag, ect
  • A funny training mishap
  • Training goals for the new year
  • A video of your pet's best trick
  • Why positive training works for you

So mark your calendars and let's start some training!

Hugs,
Dachshund Mommy

  11. Thank you again for another” feel good, uplifting, that there are good people in this world story”. We read so many stories that are negavite about people and what they do to others. A random act of kindness is always such a great thing to hear about. Peace and blessings.
