A Faux Winter Wonderland

Hey, everyone! A few days ago, when it was stupidly cold out, the peeps turned on the sprinkler over one of the backyard trees to make icicles. I hadn't seen icicles before; they sure are tasty!

Frosty humming bird feeder.

DM: I really like this one!

  1. OMD....ICE in Florida. OMD. What is happening here? OMD!!!

  2. Hard to imagine ice as being a novelty! LOL!

  3. Wow, that is really cold for your neck of the woods. Do they come in flavors?

  4. Oooh, icicles are so pretty, Nola. I bet they are tasty too.
    Happy Monday,

  5. WE don't have Hummingbirds in the WINTER... they all come to YOUR area... butt if it was cold enough to make Icicles... what keep the food from Freezing and breaking the feeder??? We make YELLOW icicles on the fence and trees and stuffs.

  6. That's a wonderful way to enjoy the cold!

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  7. I love ice and eat as much as I can get my teeth on when I'm outside this time of year. Those are pretty pictures.

P.S. We love your header picture.

  8. Hey Nola!
Wow, that's so fun! Your peeps made icicles...that's great. They are really beautiful and definitely fun to munch on. Just watch you don't get your tongue stuck to one...that's bad news fur sure. BOL

  9. Such beautiful photos! I tried to pick a favorite as I scrolled through them, but I can't. They're all so pretty. I love icicles.

P.S. Nola, once again you are wearing a SUPER cute collar! Love it! :) Also, your fur is soooo shiny! Gorgeous girl.

  10. That is beautiful. Icicles in Florida, who would have thought?!?!

  11. So beautiful! We wish that was all the winter we got! Lee and Phod

  12. What a great idea! I love Nola's collar too.

  13. We got some of those icicles here in North Texas, but they were courtesy of Mother Nature... and she also turned out yard into a skating rink!!

  14. My little sister likes to eat ice, Mom likes to photograph it, but in general, ice is not a good thing outside unless it is on a skating rink.
