It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

Hey, y'all! I don't know about you, but I'm so ready for Christmas. You know, now that it's nearly December and not August (ehm, Walmart, I'm looking at you) it's time to get ready for the tree, the food, the decorations, the food, the lights, the food, the cold days, the food.... I'm seeing a theme here.
Anyway, we always get our tree and put up our decorations the day after Thanksgiving. That also means we bring out my sparkling likeness, Pearl. Pearl is the Christmas Dachshund that Mom and Sugar made two years ago. Isn't she cute!

Mom designed her and Sugar put her together.

My third (DM: holy shit, I can't believe it's been 3 years!) Gotcha Day is also coming up. So exciting!

It's not even December yet, but I've already gotten two Christmas cards (the peeps have gotten 0, but Mom says that's not an important tidbit....)! As soon as the decorations come out Mom will do my Christmas photo shoot (and before you ask, yes: I have a Christmas collar!) and we'll get to work makin' n sendin' our cards. I think we're going with Shutterfly again this year, but please share who you use!
Here are a few of last year's pics:

  1. We LOVE Pearl! She looks so pawfect in your front yard too.

We've got our cards all printed and ready to be worked on. We hand carried them all the way from NY. (We still have yours from last year as we love looking at those gorgeous faces.)

Ma just ordered my cards this week, she had a gift card from Tinyprints, butts she found the best price was VistaPrint (she realized she didn't order enough cards, so she had to place a second order with VistaPrint and got even more at a better price...do a serch for promo codes and right now they have half off!!)

  14. I've seen some dachshund lighted decorations on the market and that homemade one trumps them all! Fantastic. And hold on a second... you have "A Christmas collar?" As in only one?! I find that impossible to believe but if it is true I hope that such a tragic situation is speedily remedied!!!
