Flooding and Fireworks

Hi all! I hope everyone had a good 4th! It rained ALL day here yesterday, and lots of areas are flooded (like our neighbors' house you'll see below).
And even though fireworks have never bothered me, I was a barking, shivering, nervous, mess.

  5. Wow Nola, we have had the same crappy weather here in NY too! On the 3rd, we got over 3" of rain and hail in 1/2 hour plus 60 MPH winds too. There were a lot of tree's down all over the place and the roads looked like flowing rivers. Lot's of thunder too ~ yuck! We have lots of puddles in our yard. We could swim in some of those puddles (butt Mom won't let us.)

We hated being left alone last night while the fireworks were booming all around us. When they all came home, we too were a nervous wreck. It took us hours to calm down. Then I refused to go outside and pee'd all over the dog bed. That will teach them to leave us alone like that :)

    Love ya GF,
    Lily Belle
