July Photo Challenge: Week Two and Goodbye, K

Hi everyone! Dachshund Mommy here.
Before I show show you this week's pictures I want to have a moment of silence for the beautiful K, who lost her battle with osteosarcoma yesterday. K was a beautiful girl who's strong, resilient soul touched so many of us and showed us that no matter what happens, live in the moment. Her courage, strength and love will NEVER be forgotten.
With the loss of Charlotte still stinging, I empathize even more with K's family.
Please stop by Romping and Rolling in the Rockies and leave a few comforting words for KB, the Runner and R. They need us, now more then ever. KB and family, we are here for you. No matter what, through thick and thin, through laughs and tears, we are here. Whatever you need, please don't hesitate to ask. I hope you can feel the strength and love of Blogville surrounding you and mourning right with you.
Run free and fast, sweet K. You will be very well greeted when you cross that Rainbow Bridge. Please tell Charlotte we miss her very much.
Rest in peace, K.

Which of these pictures is your favorite?
Love,
Dachshund Mommy

  1. What a beautiful rememberance of our furend K. She will truly be missed by so many that loved her. I just know that her and Charlotte will become best of furends at the Bridge. We will remember them both with very loving thoughts.

Love your photo's today! We especially love Lunch! Speaking of lunch, I think I gotta tell Mommy it's time for our bones :) It's way too hot here to do anything else.

    Hugs,

  8. What a wonderful rememberance of K. I know you are feeling this sharply with the loss of Charlotte so close.

This has been the hardest week yet for me to pick...but, I know it's interesting to get feedback. I'm going with "Big." I kept being drawn back to it.

  9. 10, 11, 14. Though I do love books so! (wait, I was supposed to only pick one?)

I did leave a note about K, though I "knew" her for such a short time. It made me very sad to hear about her passing.

  16. Day 10 for me. Not so much the color as the sneakers just scream comfort to me. Though I do think purple is pretty. I wish I could find a pair of those in grey to match my hubbies. ; )

So very sad to read about K. :(((
