Dachshund Nola Reviews: Greenies

Don't worry, I'm not miserable. Mom just won't give me a treat!
Hi everyone! A few days ago I was contacted by my good furiend Mr. Chewy, and he asked me if I'd like to review Greenies. I said yes, please!
Greenies are said to be helpful in preventing plaque and dental disease. Now, MY teeth are perfect (for those who have asked how, Mom brushes my teeth daily. My food and treats also help), so I have no experience as to if they really are helpful, but from research I've done they seem to be great. Remember though, there is no substitute for brushing your pet's teeth and yearly examination by a licensed vet.

I ordered the Greenies: TEENIE for dogs 5-15lb on Thursday and on Monday a box was on my doorstep (I heart Mr. Chewy). Mom took them inside and, after much tortuous posing, I got to open and try them! And OMD I loved them! They were the perfect size (Dachshund Mommy: and they didn't reek!) and it took me about a minute and a half to eat one. After the official pictures and taste testing were conducted, I was forced to share thought I'd be generous and take some Greenies outside to share with Boston and Auggie. And they loved them too! Now, Auggie will eat anything (seriously, he eats poop. And dirt.) but Boston and are are more picky refined. We all give Greenies: TEENIE four paws up! Thanks Mr. Chewy!

Kisses and Tail Wags,
Dachshund Nola

Boston just doesn't understand you have to LOOK at the camera. And there's little mr cross dresser, I mean Auggie, the attention whore.

Mom got all sad when she only had to get 3 treats out.

I'm using my substantial brain power to will the bag to open.

Must resist, must resist, MUST RESIST!

Resistants if futile.

  10. Good job on the taste testing! We can tell you all really liked them a lot. We don't eat them anymore cuz years ago they were making me REALLY sick and the VET said no more (guess they were having a lot of problems back then.)

Recently Mommy found us a new treat that Muffin and I really like. In fact I think we're gonna have one tonight :) I will have to have Mommy post a picture of them ~ guaranteed that you would love them too!

    Who loves ya baby!

  11. We had Greenies once. We loved them, but SHE's always trying to find something that will keep us busy for awhile, and we just chewed those babies up in one gulp.

  14. I have to tell you about Greenies. Before they made the smallest version you blogged about....they came in morsel size for us lil ones. and OH did I LOVE LOVE those! My peep would have a little baggie full and I would go crazy for those! Then came the bone version here. I would stand in the kitchen and bark at the cupboard for another one...relentlessly. THAT is how much I LOVED Greenies. Then came the fateful hike where I swallowed that toxic mushroom whole. Pancreatitis and NO MORE Greenies. EVER. It took many days of me not getting that. My peeps had to almost get ear plugs. I barked for many days and my peeps just kept sayin, no, sorry..no more Greenies for you. Probably a good thing for me, as I would probably be the CHUBBiest Yorkie on Earth. THAT;s how good Greenies are! Please have several for me, Nola.
