May Photo Challenge: Week Two

Hi everybody! Dachshund Mommy here with week two of the May Photo A Day Challenge.  Nola very generously agreed to let me have Tuesdays on the blog.
I'm only really happy with one of these pictures;  renovating a new house is so...time consuming! Plus most of my things needed are still in boxes.
I have a question to ask all my pet pawrents (as Nola calls you). Do you put your address on you baby's tag or just their name and your phone number? I've been drooling over looking at the dog tags on Esty, and most of the ones I like seem to just have room for the name and number. Your thoughts?

Day 8: A smell you adore
Day 9: Something you do everyday

Day 10: A favorite word
I had something completely different planned for this, but it was packed :(

Day 11: Kitchen
Day 12: Something that makes you happy

Day 13: Mom
Day 14: Grass
This is defiantly my favorite one of this week

  1. Hey Nola's Mom!
Wow, what a great group of pix! Flabbergast is a great word and I like that grass pix too. My info tag refers peeps to the County person who keeps records and she has all of my contact stuff on file there.
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, COP

  2. We have to say Day 12 make US happy too. :)
The tags that Whisky, Cosmo and Ling wear only have their names and our phone numbers (hubby and mine).

  3. Hi Nola's mama!
WE love the Nola picture and mama loves the wall art for the kitchen...she has two wall art for her bedroom...one about the caterpillar that turned into a butterfly and one about yesterday is history, tomorrows a mystery, but today is a gift that is why it is called the present (she loves Kung Fu Panda!!). Anywho...we don't normally wear tags...I know...the horror...but we are all microchipped and if we did wear our tags (since we like being naked), it would be our tag that mentions we have a microchip and our local vet's address and phone. So...wesa think your name and phone is ample, pample...besides if she gets lost nearby (heaven forbid), most of your neighbors will start to get to know you and your fur family and be able to place her quickly to your home. :)
    Much Love,
Mindy & The Slimmer Puggums :)

  4. I love the picture of Nola smiling! Fred and Gloria's tags just have a name and number. :)

  5. Hey Nola's Mom! We like Day 12 the best. My tag has my name and Lady's mobile number. I go naked in the house, but my tag is on my harness. The point is for someone to see the number on Nola's tag, and call you to locate you if you get lost. So, just the number.

  6. Those are lovely pics - Nola's is wonderful, happiest face ever!

  7. Pawesome pictures!
My mom says the one about chocolates is soooo true!
My tag has my name on on side and my mom's name on the other and it includes my address and phone number.
    Kisses and hugs

  8. I so enjoy your photos and if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have never guessed that you were working under adverse conditions. We have name, address and phone number on our tags. We live in a subdivision and there are many subdivisions around us, so I thought the address would be a good idea.

  9. The casing of your iPhone looks pretty ^^.

Nola has such a beautiful smile.

As for your question, that depends on how long your address is. But I think it's always better to put in the address and phone number, just in case.

    Huggies and Cheese,

  10. Nola....
"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." So true, so true!! And, for the most part, with chocolates, at least they are still sweet!! ;-D
Rose's silver, pink-jemmed bone has just has her name and our phone number. That is the only way I've done it!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

  11. Nice photos, we especially like the new grass blades.

The White Dog Army has their name on the front and on the back is our last name on one line, Albuquerque, NM on line 2, and our phone number on the last line.

  12. Oh we love Day 8--- in fact we need some Basil.
Well, I don't have any ID on my harness at all. I am only allowed on a leash, but moms talked about micro chiping me... but if I ever got away from moms- no one in the world could catch me- unless they had a butterfly net.

  13. that blogger app makes mom nutty

  14. Nola looks so pretty, the last photo is really cool.

  15. Good morning sweet BFF Nola,
First I gotta say we LOVE your new header picture! You sure gonna attract all the boy's with that one!!

To answer your 'tag' question, Mommy only puts our first name and her cell number on them. For beautiful little ones like us, if you put name, addy & phone number on our tags you would need a microscope or the Hubble Telescope to read it.

Your picture posting today was awesome. Of course we like them all but (other than your picture), we like the basil picture. In fact Mommy likes it so much, she's gonna show it to Daddy this morning and tell him "if you don't get OUR basil planted, we're gonna go live with Nola." (OK, gotta admit, Daddy's been really busy around here since we got back and we'll post about all of that real soon.)

    Huggies, lovies and kisses,
    Lily Belle

  16. We have our name, address and cell phone number on the front. And on the back we have our microchip number. Mom likes to cover all the bases. Btw...love the new header picture. Such a pretty smile.
